Profile
Berlin-based Executive & Line Producer for international feature films made in Germany and across Europe.
Simon has line produced and executive produced feature films for directors including David Lowery, Jordan Scott, Jan-Ole Gerster, Brian Kirk and Fleur Fortuné, with casts including Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Ethan Hawke, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Olsen and Emma Thompson. Working with augenschein Filmproduktion and international partners such as A24, Anton and Scott Free, he brings English-language productions to Germany and guides them through German financing, film incentives and production practice — from the first budget to the final cost report.
He studied at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf, producing short films and documentaries alongside his studies, after learning the ropes on set. Having started in production management on independent German features such as Henrika Kull's Glück, he now specialises in line producing international features within both independent and studio structures.
He most recently line produced Dr. Caligari's Cabinet of Wonders, directed by John Erick Dowdle and starring Michael Shannon and Talia Ryder.
